EPV : LIVING HERITAGE COMPANY

Arnaud MARION is the President of the National Association of the Living Heritage Companies (EPV) and a member of the National Commission of the Living Heritage Companies (EPV)

The Entreprise du Patrimoine Vivant (Living Heritage Company, or EPV) label is a mark of recognition given by the French Ministry of the Economy, Finance and Industry, put in place to reward French firms for the excellence of their traditional and industrial skills.

Awarded for a period of five years, the label brings together manufacturers committed to the quality of their trades and products.

Created by the Law on SMEs of 2 August 2005 (Article 23), the EPV label may be awarded "to any undertaking that has economic heritage, consisting in particular of rare, renowned or ancestral skills which draw on a mastery of traditional or technically advanced techniques, and restricted to a particular geographical area".

Arnaud MARION is a member of the National Commission of the Living Heritage Companies since its origins in 2006, and has participated to all the works of the Commission which gathers regularly and has awarded to date 1000 prestigious companies remarkable by the rarity of their know-how.

Along with prestigious and reknown companies such as HERMES, BACCARAT, CHRISTOFLE, or PLEYEL, amazing companies endowed with the same rare know-how such as more or less large workshops are also awarded: BEYRAND in Limoges, Marc MORISSET in Nantes, MIDAVAINE in Paris …

In 2009, Arnaud Marion created the National Association of the Living Heritage Companies to represent these firms to the French Ministries and institutions and respresent the labelled companies in different commissions, parliamentary meetings or days of national gatherings. He is the President of this Association.

The Association has led different representative actions for these firms during meetings, public questions or during trips or travels to meet firms or institutions.
